Abstract: This project studies neutron stars in scalar-tensor theories of gravity that include a massive scalar field. The main focus is to understand how different equations of state (EOS) impact neutron star structure in massive scalar-tensor gravity. The current stage of the work considers static and spherically symmetric configurations. Key physical properties, such as mass-radius relations and scalar field profiles, are analysed for various EOS. This allows for a careful examination of EOS-dependent effects and their interaction with the scalar field mass. In the future, the study will be expanded to include slowly rotating neutron stars using perturbative rotation methods. The results aim to improve the reliability of theoretical predictions that are important for strong-field gravity tests.
